Charlton Athletic fans have been left furious after the latest batch of Football League fixtures to be shown live on Sky Sports revealed the club will not have a single game televised before at least 21st November.
The 11 fixtures, revealed on Thursday morning, will bring live coverage of fierce derbies such as Blackburn v Burnley, Birmingham v Wolves and Nottingham Forest v Derby to Sky customers.
However, none of the additional fixtures selected for live coverage include the Addicks.
There have now been 36 Football League games selected for television coverage in the first three months of the season, and not a single one involves Charlton Athletic.
The first possible game involving Charlton that could be televised by Sky is now their clash away at Birmingham on Saturday 21st November, although this is unlikely as the match is a 3pm Kick-Off.
Fans took to twitter to express their disappointment at Sky’s decision not to show the South London club’s matches live on Thursday morning.
One user, ‘@TheAdamBartlett’ tweeted: “@SkySports any chance of some Charlton games live on Sky within the next decade or are we not cool enough?? Boring boring sky #cafc”
Another, ‘@OllyGroome’ said: “Sky Sports will regret all this when we’re top come November. #cafc.”
Charlton are currently second favourites to be relegated from the Championship this season, and begin their campaign at home to QPR on 8th August.
